Your dog's data

We're a small family business and we keep this short. Here's what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Peover Dog Club is run by [ANDREW AND PIA SURNAME], trading as a sole trader, from Oak Tree Cottage, Free Green Lane, Over Peover, Cheshire WA16 9QY. For anything about your data, email [EMAIL] or message us on WhatsApp.

What we collect, and why

When you request a stay we ask for your name, email and phone number, so we can reply and reach you in an emergency. We ask for your dog's name, breed, age, vet and anything we should know, because we're responsible for them while they're here and our licence requires us to keep these records.

We don't see or store your card. Stripe, our payment provider, holds it and we hold a reference to it. Stripe's own privacy notice covers what they do with it.

Where it lives

Your details are stored with Supabase in their London data centre. Emails go through Resend. Card details stay with Stripe. All three are reputable providers with their own security commitments, and nobody else gets your data unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking and dog records are kept for [THREE YEARS] after the last stay, which is what our licence conditions ask of us. Declined or abandoned requests are removed after [ONE MONTH]. Ask and we'll delete anything sooner, unless we're required to keep it.

Photos

We take photos of the dogs and send them to you. We only post them on Instagram if you've said yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email [EMAIL] and we'll sort it within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled something you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
